Latest Super Mario Bros 2 3DS Trailer on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

More love for coins and gold as Nintendo released a new trailer today for the upcoming sequel to New Super Mario Bros on 3DS.

Can you make it through Bowser's new levels packed to the brim with traps, overcome his horde of enemies and rescue the Princess once more? How about doing all that and also attempting to collect over one million coins. It's certainly no easy feat for our porky plumbers Mario and Luigi, and Nintendo demonstrates all new features and abilities for our heroes in the latest gameplay trailer.

Turn those Bullet Bills to gold, stomp over a plethora of Koopa and grab a white Tanooki suit if you're in need of a little assistance.


 

New Super Mario Bros 2 is out August 17 in Europe, and August 19 in North America.

I hope all the tracks in the game are new.
It at least sounds like it has a new main theme Smilie it doesn't look too bad.

Yes.
Besides the sound effects, I also like the title of this. It reminds me of 'New Car Smell'. For many people, hard to dislike. Perfect.

This actually looks pretty good, the fact it's being played on an XL makes me want to go out and buy one of those too! If only I had money... I'll wait for the next reiteration of the 3DS or something, the Wii U is my main priority this year.
