Ever Wanted a Mario Kart Trophy? Now you can! on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Nintendo of Europe have added three miniature replicas of Mario Kart trophies to the European stars catalogue.

It's almost protocol when you start up a new entry in the long-running racing series for the first time. Kick start the Grand Prix mode, blitz through each of the cups in a bid to win the stunning gold trophies - and Nintendo are bringing these trophies to the real world in competitions across Europe.

For 5000 of your hard-earned stars you can get your mitts on a minaturised versions that measure around 12cm x 9cm, perfect for your mantlepiece or gaming shelf.

I'm really jealous. What an amazing collector's item.
5000 points though? Do you get more points in the European regions? The U.S. catalog's highest prize is a re-issue game and watch replica worth 1200. (You guys are so lucky.)

I'd want the shell or crown myself.

It is not wise to speak on subjects you do not know all facts about, nor is it smart to judge a game based on looks alone. PSN: Nintendo_Gamer 3DS: 4296-3029-7422

Yes, we get 200-250 stars per game. Not sure how many coins you guys get, but I'm pretty sure it's less than that, right?

Thanks Mush! That makes more sense. We get 30-50 per game (not counting surveys.) I took a peek through the NoE star catalog and not only do you get more points, you guys have more rewards. I hope NoA is able to grow to that point eventually. Only so much you can do with a Mario hand towel. Smilie

We do have more rewards, but we don't have platinum/gold status. I don't really know what those are anyways, so yeah. Smilie

You have to remember, Club Nintendo has been around for a long time in the UK. Well, it used to be called VIP 24/7. I'm sure you guys will get more stuff soon, hopefully.

Club Nintendo is something I really love about Nintendo, I'm not sure the other companies give you such a reward for buying their games.

Oh and btw, we get 50 stars for game surveys.
