UPDATE - The video has been confirmed as fan made.
Just minutes before Nintendo's E3 Conference a gorgeous video turned viral, suggesting a remake for Zelda: Majora's Mask.
Moments before Reggie Fils-Aime, Miyamoto and co took the stage in Los Angeles, a mysterious video claimed to be leaked from a project in development by Nintendo. It portrays the opening scene from the fan-favourite Legend of Zelda adventure - Majora's Mask, a game last seen over a decade ago on the Nintendo 64.
It's left a mixed reception amongst fans - some are willing to bet an entire Nintendo collection that this video is indeed real, others have brushed it to one side as fake. The lack of Zelda at the conference has swayed this towards the fake side, but you never know with Nintendo.
Then again it maybe a CGI/conceptt trailer for a yet-to-be-announced remake on the 3DS instead.
The House of Mario has yet to comment on the matter. For now, feast your eyes on one of the most sublime Zelda teasers to date, even more so if made by a fan.
What do you think of the potential Majora's Mask remake? Should this direction and style be what Nintendo should venture into for the next Zelda game?
