E3 2012 Media | Brawl Away on 3DS, Transformers Style on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Activision Blizzard has confirmed Transformers Prime for Nintendo 3DS and Wii, developed by Now Production, the team behind Bakugan Brawlers, as well as a version being made for the Nintendo DS by Altron Corporation.

Based upon the TV show of the same name, Transformers Prime will feature both metal-on-metal brawling action and frantic driving sections, with the main focus being on a smaller group of Autobots from the TV series. Fans will be able to take control of Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Arcee, Ratchet, and Bulkhead, as well as working alongside the likes of human sidekicks like Jack, Miko and Raf.

The first screens of the Nintendo 3DS version can be seen in the game's media folder. Transformers Prime is set for an Autumn launch in the US on all three Nintendo systems.
