As with the WarioWare games on other consoles before it, Game & Wario aims to show off some of the unique functionalities of the Wii U GamePad. The cheeky cousin of Mario and his Diamond City chums return for some fun in mini-games that take inspiration from the fast-paced micro games of Wario's other party outings.
Some of the first mini-games to be announced for Game & Wario include:
Arrow - The GamePad becomes your bow as you take aim and shoot enemies by holding the controller vertically in one hand, whilst pulling the string back with the other.
Ski - Tilt the GamePad left and right to get your skier slaloming down the slopes to reach the finish.
Shutter - Use the GamePad as a camera lens to snap pictures of criminals hidden town before time runs out.
Fruit - In this 5-player game, the GamePad holder anonymously controls one of many characters on the TV screen to sneakily steal fruit dotted over town. After completing the mission, the player passes the GamePad to the others who must try to finger the suspect.
More games for Game & Wario will be announced at a later time. The party game is due to release during the Wii U launch window and allows up to five players to take part.
