Nintendo have released the previously announced worldwide firmware update for 3DS. Folders at the ready, folks!
Last week during the company's regional presentations, Nintendo confirmed a new version of the firmware out this week and today you can get your paws on the latest batch of 3DS features - the ability to create and organise your home screen apps into various folders and for developers to natively patch existing and upcoming 3DS games to fix up any software problems.
One of the first titles to get a dab of Nintendo heading will be Mario Kart 7 - due in the coming months - to fix shortcut issues exploited by those pesky online cheaters.
Downloading the update is quick and as pain free as a trip to Princess Peach's flower garden. Ensure your 3DS is connected to the internet with good battery, then scroll into your system settings to run the latest update - version 4.0.0.7.
