Pandora's Tower Month By Operation Rainfall

Fan-based campaign Operation Rainfall have announced Pandora's Tower Month which began on April 13th and will run until May 11th. Pandora's Tower is the final title in the campaign to Nintendo of America to localise three critically acclaimed Nintendo games.

Operation Rainfall's aim during Pandora's Tower Month is to show Nintendo of America that there are fans of the title in the US so the company and fans alike would benefit from the game being published by them or another publisher.

April 13th served as a mass contact day for campaigners and this will be repeated on May 11th, the last day of the campaign. During the rest of the month fans will share pictures, videos and music related to the Wii-exclusive game. There are also plans to pitch the title to various publishers who have localised Nintendo games in the past.

Operation Rainfall have already enjoyed two successful campaigns with Xenoblade Chronicles, which was released in North America on April 6th this year, and The Last Story which is set to be released in June.

So how did Xenoblade sell in NA?

Canyarion;

It's in the top 5 selling games of the week for April 1-7(with it being released on the 6th), with around 145k. This is one day, mind you, and at a single retailer Smilie

Very good IkeFE, this gives me hope that Pandora's Tower will come state side as well AND that Nintendo will realise that what they offered in the 90's STILL holds great intrest to gamers today.

The only risk with making games like this that the hardcore WANT is to NOT bring it over to all regions. I'll be sharring the great youtube vid of a guy offering good reasons as to why Nintendo SHOULD be bringing games like this over to the United States of America. Don't forget Fatal Frame Nintendo!!

It is not wise to speak on subjects you do not know all facts about, nor is it smart to judge a game based on looks alone. PSN: Nintendo_Gamer 3DS: 4296-3029-7422

Apparently Zangeki no Reginleiv was being considered at one point, along with Takt of Magic. I hope Operation Rainfall target those two, and maybe someone does a Kickstarter to fix the bugs in Fatal Frame 4 Smilie
