First Guild 01 Adverts Air in Japan on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Level-5's latest 3DS project has four games in one, and to promote the collaboration, different short 15 second ads have started to air in Japan.

Guild 01 is a unique title that includes four completely different concepts from reputable studios and game designers - the tricky part will certainly be how exactly to promote the package, plus which games appeal more than others.

In one you'll be piloting a space-ship made from a humanoid robot, the next involves being an apprentice in a weapons shop, whilst the other two include luggage handling and dungeon crawling.

Which of these games would you enjoy playing? Should more developers follow this concept with smaller games for 3DS or Wii?

I have a horrible feeling this is going to bomb hard...unless all Matsuno-san's fans come out in full force!

I wonder if it would have been better to offer these as seperate downloads on the eshop aswell?

...Or maybe have a boxart that says a slight thing about the games and not scare possible buyers off...Smilie
