Square-Enix have revealed new details about their upcoming 3DS game Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance including a release date, new worlds and additional characters. The information was confirmed from a writer for FF-Reunion.net writing about the Jump Festa 2011 event.
The game will be released sometime in March 2012 for Japan, other details including the exact date are yet to be confirmed. The writer also mentioned via Twitter, that Square-Enix showed off a new 8 minute trailer, and that there will be characters from the PSP game Birth By Sleep returning in Dream Drop Distance including Axel, Ventus and Terranort.
New worlds were also revealed including a TRON world based on the recent TRON Legacy movie, as well as a world based on Disney's Three Musketeers movie, revealed in V-Jump last week the world will be called "The Country of the Three Musketeers" and will have Mickey, Donald and Goofy playing their roles as the trio. Both worlds were playable in a demo at the event.
