Google Do a Barrel Roll with Star Fox on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Leading search provider Google have a nifty new trick up their endless sleeve, a tribute to Nintendo's pioneers of space flight.

Fan favourite Star Fox 64 and its 3DS port is well known for its timeless phrases like "It's quiet. Too quiet... be careful, it's a trap" and "Can't let you do that, Star Fox", but one of the most popular phrases is "Do a barrel roll!", where fellow pilot Peppy gives your quick instruction to avoid those troublesome lasers.

You've probably tried it by now, but if not simply type "Do a barrell roll" or "Z or R twice" on Google and see what happens...

You need to be using Firefox or Google Chrome as browser of choice for the effect to work. Using Internet Explorer? You can tilt your head around a few times to mimic the Barrel Rolling love.

I didn't know about "z or r twice." Google gets bonus points from me for this.
