Explore Lanayru in New Zelda: Skyward Sword Footage on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

It's Friday! That means a new bundle of Zelda joy from Nintendo, this time exploring a the vast space known as Lanayru.

As always, spoilers ahoy!

This week's Skyward Sword update from Nintendo introduces a new region in the land below known as the Lanayru Desert which is home to a creepy Mining Facility. A vast area bathed deep in sand and mystery, our hero encounters new and familiar folk like the ol' Goron tribe and must take on a srarving giant scorpion. He also wanders about in search of a secret Sand Ship - spooky!

The Skyloft hero is also introduced to the Claw Shots and Gust Jar.

Yes, it is. The spirit of light who protects it is also known as Lanayru... probably some sort of Nayru reference. Smilie I'm talking purely about TP, btw. I don't know much about SS.
