Heroes of Ruin 3DS Gameplay Footage

Square Enix have released new footage from the 3DS collaboration with Level-5, Heroes of Ruin.

The exclusive project revolves around four mercenaries who set out to find a cure for the ruler of the city of Nexus, Ataraxis, who's been bogged down by a deadly curse. Strange and dangerous creatures stand in their way, and its up to them to use their unique strengths to plough through.

Heroes of Ruin will boast extensive multiplayer features, with both online and offline co-operative play promised. Bonus points are awarded for playing with the same folk multiple times.

Heroes of Ruin is due out in 2012.
