SEGA List Upcoming Nintendo 3DS Releases on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

SEGA have sent out a release list of their upcoming Nintendo 3DS titles to show their support for the handheld this winter. From ninjas to hedgehogs, there's something for everybody!

The four-strong line-up begins with a return of the Shinobi series after a seven year absence. The sidescroller will arrive in Europe on 11th November, mere days before the USA release on 15th November.

Then comes everybody's favourite hedgehog's 3DS debut in Sonic Generations. Classic and Modern Sonic meet for the first time and must work together to close the time gap that has caused all the chaos when the game is released on 22nd November in North America, 25th November in Europe, travelling through re-imagined stages based on classic zones throughout Sonic's history. You can read our preview of Sonic Generations here.

Danny needs help with some brain-boggling scenarios in CRUSH 3D. Previously appearing on PlayStation Portable, you'll have to flick between 2D and 3D to overcome the puzzler on 10th January 2012 in USA, 13th January 2012 in Europe.

Finally, Sonic is back once more in February, teaming up and competing with Mario as they tackle an all-new sporting event in Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games. February 10th 2012 is the date for your diary in Europe, while Americans can celebrate Valentine's Day with the duo on February 14th 2012.

What do you think of SEGA's 3DS line-up?

Only one that lights my interest in that list is SOnic Generations really, though I will probably wait for the C3 review before I decide whether it's worth purchasing or not.

Crush3d might be good as well, but what they've shown so far didn't get me overly excited about it.

Sonic looks goood. And thinking about that in 3D makes it even more exciting. Shinobi? It does have a good arcade style which I truly like (I miss good old arcades where I spent boatloads of coins) so I might check it out!

People still base a purchase on reviews... That saddens me!

On what else should you base the purchase of a product with which you have no prior experience?

Personally, I like to divine my purchases with tea-leaves. I don't trust reviews.

Add me on anything. I'm always looking for new friends/opponents/town visitors/chances to appear more popular than I actually am.

I don't base my purchases based on a review score, but rather the overall description that the reviewer gives...

The fact that I'm waiting for the C3 review is that I know it'll be written by a hardcore Sonic fan, which I am definitely not. I liked the classic Sonics and the levels from Sonic Adventure 2 where you were controlling Sonic (the other levels, not so much though). Since I'm not a fan of Sonic in general, I'm waiting to hear more about the game content from someone who I know will write a good review for it.

Yeah, sorry, I stopped basing my purchases on what's written on the packaging in the late 90's Smilie.
