Power Up with Disney Universe Wii

Disney Universe is probably the easiest way to dress up as your favourite Disney characters without actually popping down to the fancy dress shop to put together your dream Simba suit. It's even coming out a few days before you'd get the chance to horrify at Hallowe'en - it's out on 28th October.

We've been given a heads up about Disney Universe's power ups, which include boxing gloves, ray guns and Medusa heads that can turn pesky enemies into stone. There are also Hex cubes that you'll want to avoid, that can hilariously change you into a chicken, or slightly dangerously turn your head into a bomb.

A bunch of new screenshots have been added to the media folder below. This is also a good time to note that we were also recently provided with a trailer revealing the Aladdin stage.

We played Disney Universe at GAMEfest last month, finding it to be similar to the LEGO titles but charming in its own right. You can find our preview here.

Over 40 unique characters from several Disney worlds will be available to play with when Disney Universe is released on 28th October.
