Paper Mario Shuffles into New 3DS Trailer on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

There's a lot of Mario love lately and the plumber is returning to his turn-based roots in a new Paper Mario game. New media awaits!

Paper Mario 3D reverts back to the more traditional turn-based approach from the original two Paper Mario titles and Super Mario RPG, with classic partners and mechanics. You'll be venturing into classic Mushroom Kingdom environments like deserts, volcanoes, jungles and caves, doing battle with Bowser's never ending horde of minions.

Intelligent Systems is once again at the helm, with the project due out sometime next year.

I'm looking forward to this title the most on 3DS. It's inventiveness is charming. I love all the ripped SMW sound effects too.

As well as Luigi's Mansion 2, I can't wait for this, Paper Mario TTYD was one of the best games I played on the cube and I'm hoping this tops it, love the humour of Mario RPG's as well so this should be a brilliant game.

You can clearly see one at 50 seconds in, standing right beside Mario. Open your eyes.

Looking good at the moment, hopefully we'll see more soon.
