More Details, Media for SEGA

SEGA have danced up a handful of new screenshots and gameplay details from the quirky new 3DS rhythm game, Rhythm Thief & the Emperor's Treasure.

Last week the developer confirmed a worldwide release for the new game, which quite literally puts you in the dancing shoes of a chap known as Raphael - a crafty thief who's desperate for clues to find his father. He uses his rhythmic skills to nab treasures but guilt kicks in and he eventually returns these stolen artifacts. Good boy!

The new game pits you against various different rhythm-based challenges using the stylus and 3DS's motion/tilt functions.

You'll use the stylus for drawing input in the dancing scenarios:

Colour-coded prompts for a dollop of sneaking into museums and the like:

Button/command based play for evading those pesky coppers:

D-pad and more traditional control for battling devious robots (don't ask):

and finally tilt/motion play to disable people using your flexible skills.

You know, if this game is going to have the same Japanese tracks here in Europe, then count me in. XD I love that song in this trailer already! Smilie
