Inazuma Eleven Scores 2 for Christmas

Level-5 have confirmed plans to launch the latest installment of the successful Inazuma Eleven series in Japan by Christmas.

The increasingly popular football RPG recently dribbled its way to Europe, and already has a strong presence in Japan. The franchise will be furthered with two releases in the developer's home turf on December 5th, taking a cue from Nintendo's own Pokemon Black and White by releasing two editions with varying content.

Inazuma Eleven Go! will serve up two flavours: Shine and Dark. In Shine, take on the "Unlimited Shining" team, headed by Captain Hakyryu and those who prefer Dark will go up against "Ancient Dark," lead by Captain Shu.

Each version will feature the same core gameplay, but with unique characters, transformations and story.
