Bandai Namco has released a trailer for its upcoming Nintendo 3DS simulation, Brave Company. The game is actually classed as a 'CEO Simulation,' but has clear Strategy RPG elements to it, as seen in the trailer below.
Taking on the role of the CEO of 'Brave Company,' the game takes place on an island set to the backdrop of peace after the defeat of an evil demon king. As is normally the case in games of this ilk, demons are trying to cause havoc once more and to save the world you set up a 'Brave Company' to send out wannabe heroes and heroines to rid the world of all things bad.
Brave Company seems to take an interesting spin on the genre, with players having to check out the CVs of numerous people, interview them and even get them to put pen to paper and sign a negotiated contract, with more than ten different types of hero to be found and recruited, such as priests, archers and wizards. Once fully equipped, it is time to send the new recruits out into the dangerous terrain to undertake a variety of different quests and tasks, bringing back rewards when successfully completed to help improve your office and surrounding town, with a promised 100+ quests included.
Brave Company will also include stereoscopic 3D for battles, SpotPass features, as well as camera support in order to form your own custom heroes.
Brave Company is due for release in Japan for Nintendo 3DS on 27th October, 2011.
