HMV Offering 3DS Discounts Through StreetPass on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Looking to get some money off that Ocarina of Time purchase? Fear not, HMV are running a new discount service on 3DS titles, by using the 3DS' StreetPass functionality. The special deal offers consumers 10% off any 3DS game if they enter one of the listed stores with their 3DS' wireless on. Doing so will collect a special Mii from HMV, which then gives you your discount.

No information was released on how long the offer stands, but it is limited to only the stores listed.

I went in the one in Stratford today and it didn't set my spotpass off at all, then I thought, I could just get OoT3D cheaper online anyway, even with 10% off.
