Dead or Alive: Dimensions has been past a number of hurdles blocking its release in the land down under. Earlier this month, the Classification Board of Australia withdrew the game's PG rating and it was pulled from stores. This was due to complaints about sexual orientated content featured within one games features. It was then made illegal to sell until it was reclassified.
Today, the the Classification Board of Australia have now re-rated the game and categorized it as M, for mature. A report regarding the decision stated that classifiers found the game's violent and sexual content to be of moderate impact. Female characters depicted with large breasts and the ability to take photos of certain areas were also some more in-depth reasons given.
THQ has also been partly blamed for the original classification given to the game, due to a lack of information supplied by the company.
