E311 | SEGA Preps Five for 3DS eShop on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Five titles are due to hit Nintendo's recently launched 3DS eShop soon from SEGA, including two Sonic games and Shinobi.

The coming weeks will see the following releases: Sonic the Hedgehog: Triple Trouble, Sonic Drift 2, Shinobi, Dragon Crystal and Columns. It's uncertain whether these will be straightforward virtual console re-releases or with bolted on 3D effects akin to Nintendo's own Excitebike 3D.

What do you think of the eShop selection and the service so far? What would you like to see released on the 3DS Virtual Console?

For now, I'll just assume this is just Virtual Console Game Gear releases. Nothing that really appeals to me, though Triple trouble could be nice.

It all depends on the pricing for me. Triple Trouble is the only one I'm interested in.

The Virtual Console Emulation is very neat. I really like how you can run the games at their native resolution and how it puts the game in a mock-up Gameboy unit. I also like how Gameboy classic games can be shown in their yellowish color screens.
