3DS owners are gagging for the latest firmware upgrade, and if a report from Famitsu is to be believed will contain various classics and 3D media.
From what we already know, Nintendo is preparing and hopefully on the final stages of putting together a firmware update for 3DS. Previously confirmed features were the much sought after web browser, powered by, the 3DS eStore and Virtual Console. Whilst the store seems intact, the Browser has yet to me mentioned.
Mega Man Legends 3: Prototype is also a confirmed debut title as part of the 3DSWare portion of the shop.
According to Famitsu, the update will be joined by:
- Nintendo eShop Channel
- 3DS Ware: Mega Man Legends 3: Prototype (200 yen), Petitcom (800 yen)
- Import function for DSi Ware to 3DS
- 3D Classics: Retro titles in 3D, Excitebike, Legend of Zelda and Xevious
- Virtual Console GameBoy: Ikari no Yousai, Phantasm
- Virtual Console Game Gear : Sonic & Tails 2, Sonic Drift 2, Dragon Crystal, Columns
- Virtual Console GameBoy Color: Super Mario Land, The Legend of Zelda DX (Demo)
- Virtual Console PC Engine games
- 3DS Demos: 3D Video Player, 3D Game Trailer/Previews Channel, Fuji TV and Nippon TV Previews
According to Nintendo France, more details should be made official tomorrow.
