Ubisoft Strikes a Petz Fantasy on 3DS

Earlier this week Ubisoft confirmed a new entry in the longrunning Petz for 3DS, with animals you may not be used to - it's Petz Fantasy 3D.

As well as your conventional living room or garden, players will be taking their pets to mystical floating islands, rainbow worlds and other imaginary locations. With the fantasy environments comes a whole batch of bizarre and new creates, from adorable unicorns to proud red pandas.

Ubisoft are touting revolutionary realistic features - with pets responding to owners by jumping up and down, occasionally licking the screen in 3D. Pets can also learn magical tricks and, if you want, transform into household objects to keep intruders at bay.

Finally, Petz Fantasy 3D will also make use of Augmented Reality, with special codes on cards to unlock outfits and accessories.
