Hudson Brings Sports and Sudoku to 3DS on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Konami today confirmed two Hudson-developed titles for the 3DS, a return to Sports Island and portable puzzle antics with Sudoku: The Puzzle Game Collection.

Sports Island 3D

Hudson's popular sports compliation allows up to four players to go head to head wirelessly in ten different events, including Football, Tennis, Basketball, Ice Hockey, Snowball Fight, Sumo Wrestling, Bowling, Snowmobile Race, Sport Blowgun and Trampoline, all rendered in gorgeous 3D.

Alongside the portable design and 3D output, Hudson are introducing power-ups to vary the pace - for example a heavier ball in Tennis, huge jumps in Basketball and a "Rainbow" shot in your game of footy.

Sports Island 3D also includes customisable teams, unlockable venues with multiplayer and co-operative features.

Sudoku: The Puzzle Game Collection

Sudoku: The Puzzle Game Collection aims to raid your brains when it arrives this may, through puzzles designed by the world-famous Nikoli. The game will also make use of the Play Coins feature on the 3DS, which lets players pay for hints to the more challenging puzzles.

There will be over 600 test son offer, with versions of Hashi(Bridges) , Shikaku (Boxes) and Akari (Museum), some of Japan’s most taxing puzzle styles.

Read that as Sports Sudoku and wondered how something like that would work hahaha. So it's going to be a RETAIL Sudoku game even with all the DSiware ones out there?
