Cubic Ninja was first revealed at Nintendo World, last year. Since then, we haven't had much information about the game. We've know it's a puzzle platformer and vaguely know how the game plays out, but apart from that, AQ Interactive have kept relatively quiet about it.
AQ Interactive have now announced a Japanese release date for the title though and plan to show a new trailer within next couple of days. The game is set to release in Japanese stores on April 7th 2011 and for a cheaper price, compared with other 3DS games available. Cubic Ninja is set to be priced at ¥3,990.
An official blog for Cubic Ninja is written by Mr. Hatano and an update to that blog states a trailer will be released shortly, showing the game in more detail. So far we know it uses the 3DS' accelerometers, which can be used to control a cubed shaped ninja around puzzling stages. These are littered with various traps, like spiked pits. It is also said to feature a stage editor in which the player can create and share stages.
For those who are eager to see the game in action, you can catch a small glimpse of it in the trailer below, at 2:40.
