David Yarnton recently discussed software piracy, confirming Nintendo's increased measures to prevent it on the upcoming 3DS.
The Nintendo UK General Manager spoke to CVG last week on the importance of reducing piracy in the long term, especially in the handheld arena where piracy is far more prominent, especially with the DS.

He denies that the system is "uncrackable", but does raise hope for Nintendo and third parties who could suffer from online software piracy, through improved technical protection and laws/regulations in the creative industries.
This now makes a precedent that potentially in the future it won't be a viable thing for people to do.
