Zelda, Pikmin and Mario sequels this year?

In the latest issue of Japanease gaming gospel Famitsu, it was revealed that Nintendo had plans to release sequels to some of its biggest franchises THIS YEAR!

This news comes from Miyamoto-san himself. No further details are availabe at presant but if true you can expect the games to be at E3 in some form.

Is this a sign that Nintendo are speeding things up in anticipation of the GameCube2 in early 2005, all the signs seem to be right.

Whatever is happeing at Nintendo at the moment is big and the signs of some new ideas asre creeping out. It would seems that president of Nintendo Iwata-san has been having a sort out. We have seen more competitive bundles and advertising and some of the news coming out of Japan has been more than just interesting.
