Nintendo Holding Picross 3D Compo

Nintendo of Europe is helping to continue the promotional work for Picross 3D by holding a competition. Players are being asked to put their creative talents to the test and see if they can conjure up a perplexing puzzle that fits the contest's theme of "Fairytales." Nintendo is asking people to use childhood stories full of princesses, witches, magic and heroes for inspiration, choosing a thread from any fairy-based yarn and bringing it to life in puzzle form. The competition runs from 1st January through to 21st January.

New Picross 3D puzzle packs are released each Friday here in Europe and the winners of the last contest in December will see their creations made available for download from 21st January.
