Animal Crossing Shuffle Karuta Cards on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Club Nintendo over in Japan has a new collection of branded playing cards, this time glazed with the folk of Animal Crossing.

Nintendo's popular simulation is now part of the traditional Japanese card game Karuta. The collection comes with unique artwork for each of the cards, housed in a neat presentation box. In the game a player reads out a description of a particular card, and the first to find the corresponding card wins it. Whoever earns the most takes the round!

The set is now available at Club Nintendo Japan, for 500 points/coins.

Nice to know Nintendo are still making cards. Smilie These look pretty awesome, I love the box. :3

I love Animal Crossing. I wish there was a way to expand the series without changing the whole formula.

Cute Karuta's
