3DS Activity Log Also Tracks Walking on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

The 3DS has an inbuilt activity log like the Wii to track how long you've been playing games, but also monitors your walkabouts.

Whilst the log notes how many hours you'd have spent pounding Ryu into submission or driving around Mario Circuit, it'll also use the built-in accelerometer and gyroscope to track how many steps you've taken. Are you a fittie, or a lazy bum? The 3DS will tell you what category you'd fall into.

A good way of trying to get people to take thier 3DS out with them. Although I suspect, with me, the count will be pretty low. Smilie

Not a bad idea to get people out and about while on the 3DS. This sounds like a good move. Not sure if I will use it a lot, but I think a lot of people will use it for the novelty.

Personally I don't think many people will care about it tbh, although it's a neat idea.

Certainly a nice little idea to get people to take their 3DS with them. I never take my DS with me and only use it at home but who knows, that might change.

Like the Pokéwalker, eh? But better, since you don't have to transfer the Pokémon over.
