Electronic Arts has confirmed the street date for its Nintendo DSiWare version of the popular racing series, Need for Speed. According to data discovered on the Nintendo Channel, Need for Speed: Nitro X will arrive on the Nintendo DSi's download service on 8th October in Australasia and Europe. The game features sixteen tweaked tracks to make it slightly different from last year's full retail title, as well as a batch of new vehicles to zoom around in, the ability to create personalised tags using the handy DSi camera, as well as race against up to three of your friends using the local wireless mode. All for the wallet-friendly price of 800 Points.
Whether or not this is being developed by Exient or Firebrand Games is currently unknown. If it is the latter, then definitely keep some points spare for this download!
