Nintendo WiiWare Gets Rather Fishie on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Today DK Games has released Fishie Fishie, its one-button WiiWare game for those that like something a little different. Fishie Fishie was first released in the Americas a few months ago and has finally been cleared for a European.

Fishie Fishie is a game that will test your reflexes to the max. Under its colourful, sweet exterior lurks a game that is both ridiculously easy to learn and amazingly challenging to master. You are a fish(ie) who has to survive over 100 levels in various game modes, in situations that just get crazier and crazier. 'Capture the Star,' 'Soccer,' 'Survival,' playing solo or in a team...and amazingly the whole game is played with just one button! There is no need to get to grips with complicated commands. Here, all you need to do is press the A Button on your Wii Remote.

Fishie Fishie starts with a comprehensive tutorial that allows the player to discover immediately how much fun the game is going to be. To control their agile fishie with just one button, players will have to develop a sense of rhythm, razor-sharp reflexes and learn to anticipate potential hazards. Also, team play is a guaranteed blast with laughs aplenty. Even the most experienced players will have to adapt in order to succeed.

Once everyone is at the top of their game it is time for the ultimate challenge: win the 21 available rewards as quickly as possible. Each action is timed, each second counts. You will need strategy to keep matches as short as possible and beat the record. The fishies in Fishie Fishie may look sweet, but they are going to make you sweat. You have been warned!
