As well as a full reimagining on the Wii, the classic Goldeneye 007 is also heading to DS courtesy of n-Space. Sneak on for new details.
The studio revealed a few tasty new tidbits on their blog recently, including online play and DS-exclusive gameplay mechanics.
- Goldeneye 007 is dubbed as a "re-envisioning" of the film, instead of the Nintendo 64 original, but incoporates a lot of elements from Rare's 1997 take.
- Like the Wii version will star recent Bond actor Daniel Craig instead of Pierce Brosnan and feature the same voice cast.
- Combination of tatical shooting with stealth opportunities, a "thinking man's shooter", where players are rewarded for planning out their moves through a level.
- Built ground up to take advantage of the DS's spec and unique features. Touch screen used to break through barriers, escape a helicopter and leap from the Dam itself.
- Supports up to 6 players in both wireless and online multiplayer. Awards, classic and new modes and various options to make the experience complete.
