Rumour: UK 3DS in March 2011? on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Rumours are suggesting that Nintendo will release the new dual-screened portable, Nintendo 3DS, in the UK next March.

According to VG247 Nintendo has been in talks with various companies to release the machine around that time, with retailers in the US suggesting that the console would make Christmas 2010 over in North America.

Whatever the date will be, Nintendo have officially said that it expects to launch the new 3DS in major markets by March 2011.

So according to this rumour it'll be a repeat of the frankly ridiculous wait for the original DS?

I really thought Nintendo would have changed by now. They have no excuse to make Europeans wait so fucking long.

And I thought SEGA were bad with the delay of Sonic 4. Nintendo just like to make people wait a long time before we can enjoy their systems. They are just cutting off their nose to spite their face in this situation. Get a grip Nintendo

What. This isn't a delay, it's nothing like the situation with Sonic 4.

Atleast Sonic 4 will be released in all regions around the same time, this is about Europe having to wait longer than anyone else.

If it was a few weeks like with the Wii launch then fine, but it would be a bit of a dick move to make us wait several months like with the original DS.

Though as long as Golden Sun is released here by the end of the year then I guess the wait won't be that bad. Smilie

Anyways, until we see more of a definite launch line-up for the 3DS, I'm not sure if I'll get one on launch. That long list of games at E3 was nice but you just know that most of them were just promises accompanied by tech demos and not actual working games. Will be a while before we see most of them. Smilie
