The SEGA Dreamcast had a library of some fantastic games, with the likes of Sonic Adventure, Shenmue, Jet Set Radio and Marvel vs Capcom 2. The console was also home to a more obscure title though, called Seaman, which has since gone on to become one of the consoles best selling games, in Japan.
The game saw players interact with an on-screen fish, featuring the face of a human. It also included a microphone to speak to the species and help care for it. Star Trek's Leonard Nimoy provided narration.
Back in 2007, a sequel was released for the PlayStation 2 and now there are hints that Seaman could be returning once again, this time on the Nintendo 3DS.
Yoot Saito, the creator of the Seaman games, recently posted Tweets on his Twitter account, hinting that Seaman could be returning on Nintendo's new system. Responding to a fan who posted that he'd like to see Seaman return on the 3DS, Saito replied stating that the fan should keep on hoping for such a product. Afterwards he then replied to the fan again and said that his development staff will work to respond to his expectations.
Would you be interested in buying Seaman on the 3DS?
