E310 Media | Metroid: Other M Release Date

Metroid: Other M was shown off at last years E3 with a cinematic trailer to treat the viewers. Since then, trailers have been starting to trickle out since earlier this year. Finally at E3 this year, some more information was gleaned on Other M as well as the all important release date.

Already know is the simple mechanic of only using the WiiMote as a controller to take on a 3rd/1st person adventure. Nintendo have also revealed that they are focusing on isolation and exploration - what Metroid is famous for. Also shown where some impressive adrenalin boosting bosses for Samus to take down in a plethora of immersive environments such as jungles, lava filled caverns and technologically advanced bases.

Nintendo have also finally spilled the beans on the release date; American players can expect to have Metroid: Other M in their hands on August 31st. No dates have been announced for the European or Japanese releases as of yet.
