Mario Galaxy is 2 years older Smilie But I do see what you mean though, as good as sales are for NSMB Wii, it wouldn't hurt for Galaxy to have a few more!

Just shows that 2D Mario will always be loved. Smilie

Hopefully they'll announce a sequel to NSMBW at E3. Smilie

I hope not. Mario should be left now, he's had plenty of games for the Wii. I want to see other Nintendo franchises make a comeback.

If they do it had better actually be different for once. 3 near identical 2D Mario platformers in 4 years would be rageworthy when Nintendo could be working on actual new things.

Good joke

The former top user was Keven! You'd probably give birth to yourself 1000 times over until you sprout wings to fly away into the fading sun, that or you'd just turn into a lesbian. Who knows @_@ - L, 12/06/09

Have to agree that if a new SMB game was annunce it would have to be innovative. Mario as a 3D franchise is always going forward but the latest 2d games seem content with being nostalgic and nothing more.

None of them come close to Super Mario World on the Snes. And no Im not one of those nostalgic types. I happily move with the times but the new games just are not doing anything remotely different.

I would also love to see a pure 2D game not a 2.5d game.

Well, Reggie was right.

I wonder if Mario Party 9 will be a huge hit.
