Nintendo DS Tops 30 Million in Japan

The Nintendo DS family has now passed the 30 million mark in Japan, according to Media Create. This is the first system in the history of the country's sales tracking that has managed to achieve such a feat. In the same week, New Super Mario Bros. Wii clamboured its way back up to the top of the Top 50 software chart, with sales now over 3.6 million units. Last week's No.1, Etrian Odyssey III from Atlus on DS, drops to No.7 with sales nearing the 110,000 mark.
