Hideki Kamiya Wants to Make New Star Fox on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

It was only last week when Nintendo's Shigeru Miyamoto told GamesTM that he wanted to see a new Star Fox game. It seems that Shigeru Miyamoto isn't the only one. The highly acclaimed game director, Hideki Kamiya of Platinum Games, has expressed his love for the franchise and even said he wants Platinum Games to develop it.

Some recent posts on Hideki Kamiya's Twitter account revealed his thoughts on the franchise, with one saying "If they had the team that made Star Fox 64 make it..." he then went on to write "I want Nintendo's staff to come to Platinum, stick guns at us and tell us 'You guys make a new Star Fox.'"

He also praised Lylat Wars for its scenarios and the heated battles.

This is fantastic, I sincerely hope with every inch of my physical and spiritual being that Miyamoto takes notice of this once-in-a-billion-lifetimes-chance and lets Hideki Kamiya make the best StarFox game of all time, as well as one of the best games of all time, period.

Because you all know he would.
If Miyamoto gets that "I HATE IT WHEN OTHER PEOPLE MAKE MY GAMES" thing again, I'm going to fhaiughuadadibhbfhuaskf.

its not like 2nd party games don't work, i mean i loved Capcom's Zelda: Minish cap, I honestly think Starfox is a franchise worth experimenting with till they get it right, first if needs to get into the right hands.

YES PLESAE! Hopefully Nintendo takes note of this and use it. I would love to see what Platinum Games do with Star Fox.
