Nintendo has opened up a teaser website for its Tecmo x Team Ninja Wii adventure, Metroid: Other M. The exciting reboot of the Metroid series, following the conclusion of the Prime trilogy, was revealed at E3 last year with a vague 2010 release date given. Now Nintendo has confirmed it will hit Japan in Summer 2010, which whilst still vague is at least removes any concerns about the game being pushed back to 2011.

The official teaser website can be found here and the music from the website can be listened to by checking out this video below:

Awesome music, I love piano solos. Can't wait for this game!

I'm loving how "non-Nintendo" this site seems. This could be an amazing departure that tells a great story and /excitement.

cant wait

Smilie

It looks a lot more Japanese than the Prime series. I'm sure this will appeal to them more and also Western players of the game.

It doesn't really look like a Nintendo game, either. Which is a good thing, in my eyes.

Ah... nice music, big game coming up...

It's that time again Smilie Hope it hits our part of the world simultaneously!

Awesome! I can't wait for this! Smilie Other M looks like it's going to be epic and deep... and badass. Go Samus!

I'm lovin' the music. I hope they keep the original Japanese audio as an option for the Western versions.

Chance favors the prepared mind.

Does anyone else think that voice at the start was Samus'?
Her Japanese voice is hot.

It does look very Japanese, especially with their love of slowly reading text in trailers.

I don't care about the story, I just hope they make the game fun to play and about exploring the environment.

Uhm anyone can come up with a sentimental piano solo like that.

I wonder how it will fit into the game. (Read: it doesn't suit Metroid.)
