Last Story Trademarked in EU/US

Since trademarking "The Last Story" in Japan, Nintendo have protected the name in Europe and North America. Could Hotel Dusk 2 be on the way?

Last Story has yet to be used in Japan, but many believe it's strongly related to Cing's second Kyle Hyde adventure, Last Window. It may be something completely different, but whatever it is there must be some importance given its presence now in all 3 major regions.
