Konami Brings Rhythm to Nintendo DS on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Konami has revealed it is bringing a new rhythm game to the Nintendo DS in Japan. Following its Pop 'N Music game for Wii, Konami has announced Utacchi. According to reports the game's name is a combination of Japanese words that roughly translate as 'Song Touching.' Considering the game's product page talks about matching the rhythm and tapping on 'Tacchii,' it sounds like Konami is trying to take advantage of how well the two Taiko no Tatsujin games from Bandai Namco have done on DS. However, this game also includes singing and four-player multiplayer action.

Utacchi is set to launch on the Nintendo DS in Japan on 25th February, 2010.
