Rayman Rated for Nintendo

The cheerful limbless hero Rayman is set to be heading to Nintendo's DSiWare in an untitled new project, according to German ratings.

The board has given the game's content the go-ahead, and many are hoping for an adventure more akin to his classic solo adventures on the Gameboy, Gameboy Advance and GameCube.

Thanks to Kotaku.

What would you like to see in a Rayman game? All out platforming? A compilation of mini-games or a bit of both?

All-out platforming, period.

Too many games these days incorporate mini-games in some way shape or form, and it's really getting on my tits.

I say full-on platforming, preferable very detailed and artsy 2-D instead of the grainy and muddy 3-D we had in Rayman DS, and ROCK MY SOCKS OFF! :-x

Like the original Rayman please! Smilie

No more feckin' Rabbit things. Better yet, make the game where they're extinct!

It requires great courage to look at oneself honestly, and forge one's own path.

Just port over Rayman Gold and I will be happy Smilie

The first Rayman was great. I'm sometimes reminded of it by some levels in Super Mario Galaxy.

Man, I need to replay Rayman on PC. Fast.

Oook, so are we talking just a re-release of the GBA versions with some extras here and there, or an all out new game?

Well, there's at least ONE franchise Germany doesn't have a problem with.

...I think.
