Zombie BBQ Heads to Nintendo DSiWare on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Barcelona-based EnjoyUp Games is bringing its Zombie BBQ shooter to DSiWare, following on from rave reviews for its original retail release in October 2008 over in the US. The development team's vertical-scrolling action shooter was released by Destineer in North America, but never received a full-scale release here in Europe. Now, though, EnjoyUp (the same team behind Chronos Twin) is giving the game a new lease of life for the DSi's download service, and the game will definitely hit Europe this time round and will come with an improved frame-rate

What is interesting to note, and is also mentioned in an upcoming hands-on preview of Zombie Panic in Wonderland for WiiWare, is that EnjoyUp is working with Gammick Entertainment to get the game released. This is the same company where some of the fellow Spanish-developer Akaoni Studio staff used to work. Interestingly enough, Akaoni's game bears a striking resemblance to Zombie BBQ...Check out the first video below (Zombie BBQ, DS) and the second video (Zombie Panic, WiiWare) to see the similarities:
