Music fans around the world were united in their love of KORG DS-10. Now its successor is almost here. Not content with successfully porting the KORG DS-10 to the humble Nintendo DS system the first time round, AQ Interactive and Procyon Studio have once more teamed up for this upgraded edition of the game that XSEED brought to the US and Nintendo released in Europe.
The new version has a 'Dual Mode' where one copy of the game can be used by two DSi systems, meaning the analogue synth will be increased from two to four, the drum machine from four to eight and the amount of tracks will also double to a total of twelve. In addition to these changes, the song mode has been expanded, with users able to edit in real-time, use a programmable track mute.
Whilst the original title was only available online in Japan, AQ Interactive is going to make this a retail release this time due to overwhelming demand this month. Whether or not a Western release is coming, nothing is confirmed, but there has been talk of XSEED giving it a limited US run.
