GameStop: New Super Mario Bros. Wii Due November on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Nintendo mentioned several bits at the GameStop Manager's conference earlier this week, including a month for more Mario.

The modern take on classic Mario, New Super Mario Bros for Wii, brings back the side-scrolling plumber platforming to the home console, this time with a pair of toads to accompany the Mario brothers and up to four players simultaneous.

Although not officially announced, Nintendo representatives at the event confirmed a November 2009 time-frame for the game in North America.

Will you be jumping about with Mario and friends when the game hits stores before the end of the year?

I'm buying, but lack of Wario is the reason I probably won't buy on launch.

I'm not buying this game. I like 2D Mario-games, but the problem is, that my friends don't. And for me it looks boring playing this alone. And with no online-multiplayer it's a waste of money.
But it looks good though. Smilie I don't know, maybe I will buy it later.

English isn't my main-language, so I will possibly make some grammatical failures sometimes. But shit happends.

I'll probably end up getting a used copy. Without good Mario players nearby, it's not worth full price.

I would MUCH rather have a Toad than Waluigi. -_-
Lack of Wario sucks though.
I'm still gonna be getting it as soon as possible, I'm sure I'll love it. Smilie

That still is kind of lzy for them to do that. I would have loved to see Wario's fat ass ride a Yoshi! XD

Yeah, I was really wanting Wario and Waluigi in this, too. Smilie Including two toads seems kinda lazy. Still, it's going to be epic and I'm anxious to pick it up. Smilie
