Icarian WiiWare Sees Name Change on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Over the Top Games has confirmed a name change for their latest WiiWare release, Icarian: Kindred Spirits.

The side-scrolling platformer made its debut in Europe last Friday however has now had to see a name change, for an unknown reason (apparently it was not due to similarities with Nintendo's Kid Icarus). According to Nintendo Life, future downloaders will receive "NyxQuest: Kindred Spirits" instead. Same game, different name.

Over the Top had to also alter previous WiiWare title Bang! to Bang Attack instead.

Edge gave it an 8, which is very impressive.

I think the new name is really bland and generic... it's a shame they had to change it.

Sounds like its potentialy part of a series, but "NyxQuest" is even more a crap title for that.
