Capcom has supplied the first English shots of Miles Edgeworth's first solo adventure, Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth, to us, along with news that the game will be coming to the USA in the winter of this year. The spinoff series moves the action away from the court and wholly to the crime scene, mixing the investigation sections of the other Ace Attorney games with something resembling point-and-click style gameplay.
Rather than blathering your way through court to find somebody not guilty as in earlier Ace Attorney games, this time you're perfect prosecutor himself and so gameplay revolves around Edgeworth wandering around crime scenes collecting evidence and confronting suspects in the days before trials begin to find out who's going on the stand. Players can use logic to connect facts and pieces of evidence, and once you're satisfied you've got the right idea about somebody you can them to 'battle' in a fashion similar to court battles; allow them to testify, pursue suspect strands of information, press them and finally confront them to reveal truths.
