SNES Mario Kart & FFII to hit Japanese VC

Nintendo have released their list of Japanese Virtual Console games for next month, and headlining it is Super Mario Kart and Final Fantasy II.

Out of the 8 platforms on the service, only three will be getting games, although it is a varied selection.

Famicom

- Tantei Jinguuji Saburo: Toki no Sugiyuku Mama ni - A little-known detective and mystery title.
- Final Fantasy II

Super Famicom

- Super Wagyan Land - A Namco platforming title that feature some puzzle minigames.
- Super Mario Kart

Virtual Console Arcade:

- Altered Beast The original arcade version of the Mega Drive game and considered to be the best one.
- Golden Axe - Again, the original Arcade version of the game, and believed to be the best one.
- Hopping Mappy A sequel to Mappy, which is already on the service in all regions.

Although there is little chance of seeing this version of Final Fantasy II elsewhere as it was never localized, the speedy delivery of Majora's Mask to European Gamers suggests that Super Mario Kart might make its way over soon.
