Hudson Reveals Wii and DS Plans, Deca Sports DS on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Hudson's recent financial briefing has indicated what the studio have in store for the Wii and DS in the coming year.

The Japanese father of Bomberman will be pumping out five retail games for the Wii, another five on the DS and a lone title for Sony's PSP. From the selection two Wii and one DS game will be released in North America. Siliconera have confirmed that Deca Sports will shrink down to Nintendo's portable this year (as hinted in our interview), with a Beyblade and Momotaro Densetsu for Wii.

In the virtual front six WiiWare and four DSiWare titles will be released, alongside two for PSN and Xbox Live Arcade. Two of the DSi downloads have been rated in Germany under "Sudoku 50! For Beginners" and "Sudoku 150! For Beginners".

Yah, more hudson games to avoid...sigh

Well I was rather exctied until I came across the Deca Sports DS game and the damn Sudoku games... I hope that we'll get some quality DSiWare Games.

Deca Sports 2 for Wii and the DS version were both brought up in the interview we did with Hudson last year, so no surprses there. Also, considering the amount of support Hudson's given WiiWare so far already, again there's no surprise to hear stacks more is on the way...Easy money!
